Job summary

QXO’s Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) is a one-year rotational experience designed to groom future leaders for branch and operations roles. Participants rotate through operations, learning modules, and capstone projects, gaining leadership experience and enterprise-wide networking opportunities.

Through hands-on assignments in inventory analysis, staffing, and workflow optimization, ELDP graduates may advance to Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager roles upon successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or 1-2 years in distribution/ops leadership.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for leading people and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end operational and strategic projects using data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Share insights with regional/branch leaders to inform decisions.
• Hire and onboard new team members to build a high-performing workforce.
• Recommend process, workflow or resource changes to move the business forward.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on forecasting, staffing, service levels, inventory health, and cost control.
• Act as a community engagement ambassador and strengthen local partnerships.
• Champion technology advancement and process improvements aligned with corporate initiatives.
