Job summary

QXO's Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) is a one-year rotational experience designed to grow future branch and operations leaders. Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to an enterprise leadership network to support regional initiatives.

You'll lead projects, contribute to forecasting and staffing improvements, and develop a strong operations foundation while building a career path toward Branch Manager or Operations Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Construction Management, or a related field, OR 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate or travel regionally for rotations and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational and strategic projects end to end, using data to identify trends and improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
• Share insights with regional and branch leaders to help shape business decisions.
• Hire and onboard new team members to build a high-performing workforce.
• Recommend process, workflow, or resource changes to move the business forward.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on forecasting, staffing, service levels, and inventory health.
• Act as community engagement ambassador and strengthen local partnerships.
• Champion technology advancement and process improvements aligned with corporate initiatives.
