Job summary

Davenport Group is seeking an Emerging Business Account Manager to sell data center products and services to existing customers while developing new business with those accounts. You will add new lines of business and new accounts within the assigned sales territory, coordinating with client teams and leadership to drive growth.

The role requires strong prospecting, pipeline management, and ability to create compelling proposals and quotes using engineering guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in professional sales, including enterprise hardware/software.
• Experience selling data center hardware/software with Microsoft/VMware knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory growth strategy and prospect for new accounts.
• Manage and grow the sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
• Create and present proposals, quotes, and deals to customers.
• Collaborate with Client Sales Executives on client strategy and with MS director on territory strategy.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for accounts, opportunities and leads.
