Job summary

Davenport Group is seeking an Emerging Business Account Manager to drive data center sales to existing customers and develop new business within the territory. You will coordinate with Client Sales Executives and the Microsoft Director to execute strategy and quotes using Live Optics.

You will manage the sales pipeline, create proposals, and maintain precise Salesforce records while traveling within-territory as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor7s degree from a four-year college or university.
5+ years of professional experience including 4+ years selling Enterprise/Client hardware and software.
Data Center sales experience covering server, networking, storage, hyperconverged, converged and data protection.
Strong understanding of Microsoft and VMware software offerings.
Must be able to self-manage and achieve results remotely.
Ability to create and execute a sales strategy within the territory.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a territory growth strategy with defined accounts.
Manage and grow the pipeline for the assigned territory.
Collaborate with Client Sales Executives on client strategy.
Generate data center and software quotes using Live Optics and engineering guidance.
Create project proposals for engineer reviews and present to customers.
Maintain records of accounts, prospects, and leads in Salesforce.
Schedule meetings and demos with customers and prospects; assign next steps.
