Job summary

VIP, Inc. in Biddeford, ME seeks a Service Manager II to guide a service team, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This exempt, full-time role focuses on developing future Service Managers through VIP processes and hands-on leadership.

The SMII will manage daily operations, scheduling, coaching, and certification readiness, ensuring the team meets VIP programs and standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management
• Two-year college or technical school recommended
• Equivalency of education/experience acceptable

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as priority and report unsafe conditions
• Carry out duties of Assistant Manager
• Learn VIP processes to build an extraordinary team
• Hire and develop associates; ensure LMS and vendor training
• Ensure associates meet certifications (T.I.A, ASE) and coaching
• Schedule team to meet customers’ needs across hours
• Communicate with team via daily huddles and meetings
• Train and deliver the 5 for 5 process with customers
• Coordinate dispatching of work orders to technicians
• Attend off-site meetings and training several times per year
