Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Michigan. You will be on the front lines of emergency care, performing triage, nursing, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care tasks while supporting pet parents through stressful moments.

Ideal candidates hold AVMA-accredited credentials, 1+ year in a vet tech role, and are prepared for nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the practice state required (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT).
• 1+ years in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line emergency nursing and critical care support.
• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and care planning.
