VEG ER for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team in Michigan. You’ll handle diverse cases, perform triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while supporting pet parents through stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of VEG location.
• 1+ years in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR/practice management software familiarity.
• Excellent communicator; calm under pressure; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from triage to discharge for emergencies.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, and transfusions as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain care flow.
• Maintain clear communication with pet parents and teammates.
• Perform diagnostics and imaging as required; support procedures.
