VEG is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced ER team in Wisconsin. You will handle triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care alongside our doctors, while supporting pet parents during stressful moments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology (AVMA-accredited) preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state.
• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience; emergency/critical care preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a noisy environment with odors.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat a wide range of emergency cases.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Administer IVs, CRIs, blood products, and related therapies.
• Communicate effectively with team and pet parents.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as needed.
