Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team, where compassionate care matters for pets and families. You will work on triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing alongside our doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the state; ECC/VTS is a plus.
• 1+ years experience in veterinary technician role, emergency or specialty preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients, provide nursing care and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with diagnoses, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care.
• Handle equipment, IVs/CRIs, and advanced procedures as trained.
