Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group in St. Peters, MO seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced ER team. You will participate in triage, anesthesia, diagnostics, monitoring and critical care, delivering gold‑standard, compassionate care for pets and families.

You should be credentialed (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) with AVMA accreditation preferred, and have 1+ year of experience. The role demands resilience, teamwork, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher from AVMA accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed as Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in state of practice.
• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during emergencies.
• Assist in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver high‑quality care.
• Maintain calm, compassionate presence for pets and their owners.
