Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Chicago, IL (Lincoln Park). You will perform triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing on the front lines of emergency care, supporting doctors and pet parents in high-stress moments.

You have a CVT certification and AVMA‑accredited training, with 1+ year ER experience preferred. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent learning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary technician, ER experience preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with advanced procedures and imaging as part of the ER team.
