Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in Chicago is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) for anesthesia coverage in a busy emergency and specialty hospital. The role emphasizes high-level nursing care, anesthesia administration, and meticulous records within a collaborative team.

We offer on-site, full-time shifts (four nine-hour shifts per week) with on-call requirements and competitive hourly compensation based on credentialing (CVT/LVT) or higher for VTS.

Qualifications

CVT/LVT/RVT credential required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in veterinary anesthesia.
Experience with anesthetic monitoring and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

Administer and monitor anesthesia for specialty and emergency patients.
Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients and assist with procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and communicate updates to the team.
Collaborate with surgeons, veterinarians, and staff for patient care.
Support a fast-paced, team-based anesthesia service.
