The ideal candidate has veterinary reception or healthcare operations experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary reception or healthcare operations.
• Strong client communication in person and by phone.
• Ability to handle emotional or urgent conversations.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Familiar with scheduling, payments, records, and admin systems.
• Calm under pressure and decisive; good team communication.
• Compassionate, professional, and client-focused with pets.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support clients during Emergency and Specialty visits.
• Coordinate patient arrival, check-in, discharge, transfers, and follow-up.
• Communicate clearly in stressful situations with compassion.
• Manage phones, scheduling, payments, records, and client requests.
• Coordinate with emergency veterinarians, technicians, and specialty teams.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate client/patient information.
• Build knowledge of Emergency and Specialty Veterinary medicine.
• Support a clean, organized, professional client-facing environment.
