Job summary

VEG is seeking a Part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. You’ll manage emergency cases, including surgeries and exotics, in a fast-paced, patient- and family-centered environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Emergency medicine experience including emergency surgery and endoscopy is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg and work nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical questions via phone.
• Provide care to emergency patients, including exotics.
• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans and discuss them with clients.
