Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Live and breathe emergency medicine, including ER surgery and endoscopy.
• Thrive in team-oriented environments and fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions over the phone.
• See patients immediately as part of the VEG Triage/VEG Spikes process.
• Gather signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and exam findings.
• Conduct physical exams and required diagnostics.
• Create diagnostic and therapeutic plans; communicate options to clients.
• Prepare estimates and present them to clients.
• Maintain and review medical records for accuracy.
• Explain tests and treatments to clients; address concerns.
• Perform minor and major emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures.
• Educate clients on aftercare and prevention.
