Job summary
VEG for Pets is seeking a Part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency care team. You will work alongside doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care for a wide range of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, including anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
Ideal candidates have an AVMA-accredited vet tech program and state credentialing (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT), with 1+ year of emergency experience.

Responsibilities
- Triage and treat a wide range of emergencies with doctors and team.
- Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments.
- Administer meds, IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and monitor patients.
- Collaborate and communicate to shape treatment plans and ensure workflow.
- Perform CPR and assist with anesthesia and monitoring as needed.
- Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placements.
