Job summary

VEG is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team, delivering gold-standard care for a wide range of cases with doctors and staff.

You will perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of VEG practice is required; VTS is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care, medications, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with procedures and collaborate with doctors to ensure smooth patient flow.
