Job summary

VEG is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front‑line emergency team. You’ll handle a broad range of cases, support doctors, and provide compassionate care for pets and their families during urgent moments.

The role requires an AVMA‑accredited credential, state licensure, and 1+ year of experience in emergency or specialty medicine. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts are required in a fast‑paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA‑accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of the VEG practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with advanced techniques and procedures as part of an emergency team.
