Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the VEG practice state is required; VTS is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to lift up to 25 kg and work nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from triage to discharge, supporting patients and families.
• Support anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing during emergencies.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, IVs, CRIs, blood products, and transfusions.
• Communicate clearly with the team and pet parents, acting with empathy.
• Respond to emergencies, perform CPR, and contribute to care plans and safety.
