Veterinary Emergency Group in Greenwood, IN is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 ER team. You’ll be on the front lines, providing compassionate care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing for a wide range of cases.

You’ll work closely with doctors and the VEG team, delivering gold-standard care while maintaining composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state; VTS in ECC/ANES is a plus.
• 1+ year in veterinary tech, emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Able to use practice management software and EMR systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist in diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Work with doctors to develop care plans and keep care flowing.
• Perform CPR when needed and use advanced techniques and equipment.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Operate anesthesia, including for fragile patients when required.
• Collaborate as part of a fast-paced team in a busy ER.
