VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will perform triage, nursing care, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care while supporting doctors and teammates.

The role requires an AVMA-accredited education, state credentialing, and 1+ year of veterinary tech experience, with willingness to work nights and weekends. You will use practice management software and EMR tools, lift up to 25 kg, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the practice state is required.
• 1+ years in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Strong communication, calm under pressure, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and deliver nursing care and treatments.
• Perform diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Assist with imaging, sample collection, and IV therapy.
• Liaise with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
• Provide compassionate support to pet parents during stressful moments.
