Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Calabasas, CA is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll handle a wide range of cases, support doctors, and provide compassionate care in high-stakes situations.

The role requires AVMA-accredited credentialing, ER experience, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. VEG offers extensive learning, mentorship, and a benefits program to help you grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited degree preferred.
• Credential as Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state.
• 1+ years in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Comfort with EMR software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, and monitoring from tests to discharge.
• Administer nursing care, medicines, and emotional support.
• Use diagnostics, imaging, anesthesia, and critical care nursing.
• Work with doctors to shape plans and maintain care flow.
• Perform CPR as trained and handle advanced procedures.
