Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a front-line emergency care team. You’ll manage cases from triage to discharge, supporting doctors with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing in a fast-paced environment.

You will work alongside a compassionate team, using advanced techniques and maintaining patient and client communication during stressful moments. VEG emphasizes learning, mentorship, and career growth.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT credential required in the state of the VEG practice location; VTS in ECC, internal medicine or anesthesia is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in emergency or specialty veterinary technician role preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred or associated degree

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in critical moments from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Utilize advanced techniques and provide collaborative care with doctors and team.
