Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred or enrolled in VEG Credentialing Support Program.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician or assistant role; emergency or specialty preferred.
• Strong grasp of clinical workflow and team dynamics.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status and shift-wide needs.
• Manage daily workflow and adapt to emergencies.
• Assign and adapt shift roles with clarity.
• Provide on-floor support and coaching as needed.
• Coordinate breaks, resolve conflicts, and lead end-of-shift wrap-ups.
• Communicate clearly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Promote learning during downtime and maintain transparency.
