Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency care team. You will perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing while delivering compassionate support to pet parents in stressful moments.

The role emphasizes growth, mentorship, and opportunities to expand skills across emergency medicine in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited program degree strongly preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the practice state required; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure gold standard, compassionate care.
• Perform CPR and assist with advanced procedures (IVs, CRIs, transfusions).
• Utilize diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and placement of tubes.
