Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You’ll perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

The role offers opportunities to grow skills, work with diverse cases (including exotics), and be part of a fast-paced VEG hospital network with a strong emphasis on learning and mentorship.

Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited program is strongly preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the applicable state is required.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary technician role, emergency or specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, monitoring, and anesthesia.
• Assist with diagnoses, imaging, and emergency procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, client-centered communication and emotional support.
