VEG ER for Pets is hiring a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Massachusetts. The role places you on the front lines of veterinary emergencies, delivering swift triage, anesthesia support, imaging, and critical care nursing alongside our doctors and VEG team.

Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology degree strongly preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT credential in the practice state required; VTS a plus.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across triage, treatments, and monitoring.
• Assist doctors with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubing placement.
• Deliver compassionate support to pet parents during emergencies.
• Maintain high standards of patient/resident safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with team to keep care flowing and plans updated.
