Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in Peabody, MA seeks a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of compassionate emergency care. You’ll work with doctors and a team to triage, treat, monitor, and support pet parents during critical moments, delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care.

You’ll grow skills, receive mentorship, and be part of a culture that values the VEGgies and their impact on pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients and assist with tests and procedures.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from first triage to discharge.
• Handle IVs, CRIs, transfusions and related monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with teammates to keep care flowing.
• Assist with CPR and emergency procedures as needed; train where applicable.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and placements (tubes).
• Support anesthesia and advanced techniques as required.
