The Veterinary Emergency Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for the Northern Liberties hospital. You will lead credentialed veterinary technicians and assistants, uphold care quality, and foster a supportive, fast-paced ER culture.

You’ll mentor staff, coordinate schedules, and partner with hospital leadership on performance and patient flow. This role rewards empathy, clear communication, and growth opportunities in a nationwide emergency veterinary network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary nursing or technician role.
• A focus on developing leadership skills.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg on own and 40 kg with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor credentialed veterinary technicians and assistants at all levels.
• Address team issues with clarity and care while protecting patients and staff.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on performance, feedback, recognition, and planning.
• Design and maintain hospital flow to reflect our patient‑first approach and fast service.
• Address customer concerns in real time and partner with leadership for solutions.
• Keep people and pets together, supported, and cared for during visits.
• Manage nursing schedule, PTO requests, and daily coverage.
• Lead team huddles and meetings to keep everyone aligned and inspired.
• Collaborate across leadership to ensure smooth hospital operations.
