VEG is hiring Veterinary nursing Shift Leads to keep each shift running smoothly and ensure patients receive top-tier care. You’ll guide the team, coordinate floor operations, and support clinicians while fostering a positive, empowering environment for VEGgies.

You will lead with heart and hustle, promote learning, and work with hospital leadership on coverage and ongoing coaching to elevate care standards across the hospital network.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years in a veterinary technician/assistant role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• Strong grasp of clinical workflow and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift workflow and ensure top-tier care.
• Lead team huddles, coaching, and coverage during shifts.
• Assign roles, manage breaks, and handle floor operations.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on coverage and coaching.
