VEG is hiring a Veterinary nursing Shift Lead in Cedar Park, TX. You will own the rhythm of each shift, ensuring top-tier care and a supportive environment for VEGgies. You’ll lead with heart, coach on the floor, and coordinate breaks and coverage as needed.

Ideal candidates bring CVT/RVT/LVMT credentials, 1+ year of vet tech/assist experience, and a passion for emergency medicine. This full-time role offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and a chance to impact a dynamic team.

Formación

• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential preferred or enrolled in VEG Credentialing Support Program.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician or assistant role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Strong grasp of clinical workflow and team dynamics.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg; work in a noisy environment with odors.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient status and shift-wide needs.
• Manage daily workflow and pivot when the unexpected hits.
• Ensure shift roles are assigned clearly and adapted as needed.
• Jump in on the floor to assist; no task is too small.
• Coordinate breaks, resolve conflicts, and model calm under pressure.
• Lead shift transitions, team huddles, and end-of-day wrap-ups.
• Communicate clearly, elevate key issues, and support team learning.
