The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in veterinary client service, strong communication, calm under pressure, and the ability to manage calls, appointments, and billing with empathy.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative.
• Experience working in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized and compassionate in emergencies.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy and compassion.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line system.
• Schedule appointments, consultations, diagnostics and procedures.
• Efficiently check patients in and out.
• Review treatment estimates, invoices and payment options.
• Process payments and maintain financial accuracy.
• Assist with emergency patient arrivals and urgent client needs.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical and client records.
• Communicate with doctors, technicians and referring hospitals.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
