We’re currently looking for experienced Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technicians to join our South Daytona team.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love critical care nursing, and want to be part of a team where your skills and contributions truly matter, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

As an Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you’ll be an essential part of our ER and ICU team, providing hands‑on nursing care to emergency, hospitalized, and critically ill patients.

You’ll work closely with our Emergency, ICU, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Specialty teams to help deliver seamless, high-quality patient care from admission through recovery.

Your day may include:

  • Providing advanced nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients
  • Performing patient triage and assisting with emergency stabilization
  • Closely monitoring hospitalized and ICU patients
  • Recognizing subtle changes in patient condition and communicating concerns quickly
  • Administering medications, CRIs, blood products, and prescribed treatments
  • Assisting with emergency procedures and advanced diagnostics
  • Supporting anesthesia, sedation, and procedural monitoring
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment sheets
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure continuity of care
  • Providing compassionate support to clients during stressful and emotional moments
  • Being an advocate for your patients and helping ensure they receive attentive, thoughtful nursing care throughout their stay
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings both strong technical skills and a team-first mindset.

Ideally, you have:
  • 2+ years of Emergency, ICU, or Specialty Veterinary Technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of emergency stabilization and critical care monitoring,
  • Confidence working with hospitalized and critically ill patients
  • Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
  • The ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate under pressure
  • A willingness to jump in, collaborate, and support your teammates
Extra points if you have:
  • CVT, LVT, or RVT credentials
  • Specialty hospital experience
  • Advanced anesthesia monitoring experience
  • Experience with ezyVet and/or VetRadar
Current Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM

A four-day workweek means more consistency in your schedule — and more days away from the hospital to recharge.
