Allied Veterinary Specialists (AVS) in South Daytona, FL, is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our emergency and specialty hospital. You will be the first contact for clients and referring veterinarians, ensuring a welcoming, professional experience and smooth hospital workflow.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in veterinary client service, strong communication, calm under pressure, and the ability to manage calls, appointments, and billing with empathy.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative.
• Experience working in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized and compassionate in emergencies.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy and compassion.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line system.
• Schedule appointments, consultations, diagnostics and procedures.
• Efficiently check patients in and out.

Position Summary
The Client Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for our clients and referring veterinarians. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience while ensuring efficient communication and workflow throughout the hospital.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and remains calm under pressure while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative
• Experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and compassionate in emergency situations
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital
• Experience managing high call volumes and busy reception environments
• Working knowledge of ezyVet and/or VetRadar
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and specialty services
