The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1+ year of veterinary experience.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years' experience in a veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, take weight and vital signs on arrival.
• Triage patients, perform exams, treatments, and administer medications as directed by licensed staff.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications or patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and documentation, including controlled drugs.
• Feed and groom patients as prescribed; monitor appetites and report any concerns.
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness, and medication plans.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and safe chemical handling.
