PetVet Care Centers' Cascade Veterinary Referral Center in Tigard, OR is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant for the overnight shift. You will support veterinarians and technicians with patient care, sanitation, and clerical duties.

Responsibilities include triage, assisting with medications, handling and comforting patients, and maintaining medical records and hospital safety standards. 3 overnight shifts per week with 12-hour durations are expected.

Qualificações

• 18 years or older and able to work overnight shifts.
• 1 year of veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate care to all patients and greet clients warmly.
• Triage, perform basic exams, administer medications as directed.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with procedures and patient restraint.
• Maintain cleanliness, recordkeeping, and proper medication documentation.
• Groom, feed, exercise, and monitor overnight patients; ensure safety.
