MedVet is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant - Contingent to join our fast-paced ER team. The role focuses on patient supervision, assisting with treatment plans, and client education in a collaborative hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have prior veterinary experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Flexible hours and on-call shifts are available in a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients receive quality care.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Oversight/care for stable patients.
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint.
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams.
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department.

Never a dull moment in theER!Ourpatients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are executed. This department is perfect forsomeone who can identifypatientdistress and react accordingly, enjoysassisting with recovery and client follow up and education.

• Ensure patients receive qualitycare
