Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT and eligible for licensure in California
• Degree in veterinary technology
• Passing score on the Veterinary Technician National Examination
• Must possess and demonstrate effective leadership qualities
• Ability to promote effective communication amongst team members
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
• Proven ability to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and developing shift leads, guiding department growth.
• Oversee clinical operations including scheduling staff shifts and patient care.
• Lead coaching, performance management, and evaluations of assigned employees.
• Directly supervise four or more employees and coordinate their work.
• Actively participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training of new staff.
