Job summary

Guthrie is seeking an Emergency Services Technician II on a per diem basis to support the fast-paced Emergency Department. You will assist with patient transport, vital signs, and direct patient care while collaborating with nurses and providers to ensure efficient ED operations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and adherence to safety protocols, with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• EMT or EMT-Paramedic certification preferred.
• EKG certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum two years as PCT or CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the ED, including transports from private vehicles
• Measures and documents vital signs accurately and timely
• Assists patients and families in waiting areas with information and support
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, POCT as directed by Nursing Protocols
• Assists with trauma activations and routine ED operations
• Restocks and maintains ED supplies and equipment
