Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year pre-hospital EMS experience preferred.
• BLS Certification - Healthcare Provider required; EMT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care in collaboration with ED nurses and physicians
• Taking and documenting vital signs and patient observations
• Assisting with orthopedic procedures, including splinting and casting support
• Preparing patients for suturing, wound care, and urinary catheter placement
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Applying dressings and wound care treatments
• Assisting with patient preparation for diagnostic procedures and emergency treatments
• Supporting patient transport and clinical workflow in the Emergency Department
