Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a per diem Emergency Services Technician to join the Emergency Department at Troy Community Hospital. You will provide hands-on patient care, support physicians and nurses, and help maintain a calm, efficient ED workflow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include patient transport, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, IV access, and assisting with procedures under supervision. A minimum of one year paramedic experience and current BLS/ALS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of paramedic experience.
• BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision in a fast-paced ED.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Support physicians and staff in emergency procedures and care delivery.
• Maintain equipment and stocked supplies for efficient operations.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort and communicate with families.
