Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in program or project management in emergency management.
• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public or business administration, or related field.
• A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planning and implementing Department programs, projects, and initiatives to include the regional fatality management collaborative workshops and preparedness planning.
• Develop, update, maintain, and evaluate the emergency management plans, standard operating procedures, and manuals for the County's mass casualty and fatality management program, including the Fatality Management Plan and Family Reception Center (FRC) and Family Assistance Center (FAC) Manuals; review policies and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Manage the Continuity of Operations (COOP) program for the Office of the Medical Examiner.
