As an Emergency Services Coordinator, no two days are the same. You will be at the forefront of regional safety, helping prepare for and respond to a diverse range of challenges, from extreme heat and flash floods to wildfires, major special events, and complex all-hazards emergencies.
In this critical role, you'll develop and maintain emergency plans, provide technical expertise in All Hazards, support training and exercises, and collaborate with Maricopa County, partner cities, towns, tribal nations, and other emergency management stakeholders to strengthen regional preparedness and response.
You’ll do this work from our state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center, opened in 2025. This high-tech command hub features advanced video walls for real-time situational awareness during active emergencies, plus access to an on‑site fitness center to support your wellness and work‑life balance.
