Job summary

Emerus is seeking a dedicated ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect vitals, assist with activities, and support care plans under the charge nurse.

The role requires strong clinical data collection, infection control, and teamwork to maintain safety and privacy. Travel to multiple facility locations may be required; daytime shifts in Kelly, TX offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EMT-P/EMT-Paramedic or licensed paramedic coursework with 1+ year ER experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred in many markets.
• PALS preferred when available; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per COLA/CLIA regulations.
• Assist with patient care as directed by the charge nurse and care plan.
• Provide superficial wound care and support patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and a clean, safe environment; ensure aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform duties as assigned.
