Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform essential emergency room duties in a small-format hospital setting. The RN will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort while maintaining privacy and accurate clinical documentation.

The role requires 2+ years of ER experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. The shift is DAYS (7a-7p) and PRN, with standard nursing responsibilities and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse without sanctions required.
• 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and evaluate age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Maintain accurate, legible documentation in medical records.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and institute interventions as directed.
