Job summary

Emerus, operator of small-format ER hospitals, is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, following physician orders and hospital policies.

The role requires current RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and 2+ years ER experience, with English fluency and strong documentation skills. Responsibilities include triage, nursing care, charting, and collaborating with the care team to deliver safe, timely treatment in a fast-paced ER

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Two or more years of full-time RN experience in Emergency Room or equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Pennsylvania Act 33/Act 73 disclosures may be required for PA candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate and developmentally suitable nursing care.
• Complete accurate and legible medical record documentation.
• Monitor and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing interventions.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
