Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in our 16-bed small-format hospital. You will document thoroughly, monitor patient status, and follow physician orders while adhering to infection control and privacy standards.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, active RN license in the state, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with TNCC preferred. This is a day-shift PRN on-site role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• Minimum 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and report changes promptly.
• Follow physician orders and establish nursing interventions.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety according to policies.
