Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. Technicians are dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires and may assist in mounting orders, cleaning, and shop duties when idle.

No experience required; training provided. This role includes an on-call rotation with after-hours calls paid at a premium, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k), life insurance, and tuition

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

Responsibilities

Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE and safety policies.
