Job summary

AAA Washington is seeking a Fleet Technician to respond to emergency roadside service requests and provide on-site mechanical assistance to members' vehicles. You will work with towing and light service operations to get customers back on the road while delivering professional customer service.

Based in Seattle, you’ll perform diagnostics, battery work, tire changes, lockouts, and minor repairs on fleet vehicles, while following safety procedures and contributing to a cooperative team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screenings.
• 3+ years’ work experience in automotive and/or customer service.
• 1+ years’ mechanical aptitude and mechanical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency mechanical assistance on member vehicles.
• Tow vehicles to specified locations following safety procedures.
• Be the face of AAA Washington to stranded members.
• Provide customer service to members and other departments.
• Advise manager of vehicle or operational issues.
• Perform minor vehicle repairs on fleet vehicles.
