Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Fleet Dispatcher to dispatch emergency roadside assistance calls for members and fleet personnel, utilizing dispatch systems and maps to locate member locations and coordinate responders.

This on-site role offers a full-time schedule with potential evenings and weekends, competitive hourly pay starting at $19, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
• Experience resolving customer concerns and issues.
• Ability to prepare written communications and respond to inquiries.
• Geography knowledge and ability to provide directions.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening for phone and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dispatched calls and take action to resolve service issues.
• Handle escalations per established procedures.
• Provide explanations to customers and report service issues.
• Close service requests using the dispatch system.
• Accept payments from members/customers when needed.
• Reconcile and resolve rudimentary payment issues and maintain records.
• Assist coworkers and less-tenured dispatchers as necessary.
